Noesen scored on the power play, 1-0 Carolina after twenty minutes. Kallgren is in net for the Leafs and Andersen for the Hurricanes going against his former team.

The Rangers lead 2-0 also after twenty minutes.

The cats had a 2-0 lead and then Strome scored a pair of goals in 27 seconds to tie the game! Shattenkirk has an assist, but, more impressive was the save he made with Gibson down and out of his net.

The two Sam's of the Panthers have scored in the third period. Reinhart at the three minute mark. Bennett five minutes later, 4-2 Florida.

Exciting finish in Anaheim. Lundstrom scored on a penalty shot with 74 seconds left in regulation time. The Ducks pressed even though they were shorthanded, Reinhart scored into an empty net at the end, 5-3 Panthers win.

Gotta say that the Red Wings have improved from last year. I do like their coach and Husso has been a good in net. Halak was really pissed when they lost. He made sure he broke his goalie stick.

The Leafs win both of their weekend games. Kallgren gets the win in net making 29 saves. It was a tame game, just 3 minor penalties called.

The Panthers beat the Ducks with Montour having a great night offensively. He had a 4 point game (1g, 3a). Spencer Knight was in net for the Panthers. Gibson faced 47 shots in the loss and kept the score respectable. The Ducks wore their reverse retro jerseys.
