Seattle at Calgary

Jordan Eberle's and Martin Jones' wives both gave birth to baby boys last Friday.

The next night, their husbands delivered in their own way.

Eberle scored his first goal of the season and Jones made 32 saves to lead the Seattle Kraken to a 3-1 victory against the visiting Pittsburgh Penguins.

The Kraken are scheduled to open a three-game trip at Calgary on Tuesday night.

Preview: Flames Look To Get Back In Win Column As The Kraken Come To Town

As the Vegas Golden Knights were to the Flames, the Flames are to the Seattle Kraken. The newest darling of the NHL has had no luck in the regular season with the Flames. Last year the Kraken found themselves on the losing end of all four games they played against Calgary during their maiden voyage.

Unlike a season ago, the Kraken's first 10 games have featured consistent forward line combinations, plus a closer look at how to protect a lead in the third period of games

The Daily: Flames Line Shakeup, Maple Leafs Mayhem

Flames head coach Darryl Sutter went with a much different look in practice on Monday, breaking up the Huberdeau line in the hopes of sparking their $84-million man.

Huge two points. Must-win game.

In all seriousness, get the W. Assume Vladar gets one of the next two if Markstrom plays today.

Finally we can move on from the Edmonton game. That PGT has gotten ridiculous.

Flames will win this one 5-2, the world will not end, and everyone will be back on the bandwagon. Go Flames!

I mean this with all due respect to Seattle.

But the Flames should win this game handily.

Thank god its a new GameDay. Let's move on from the last game and get our mojo back!

Very curious to see if those practise lines were a legit plan or Sutter stirring the pot.

Go Flames Go!!!

Dogs days of the home stand. Hopefully the boys can dig deep for the next three at home before they finally go on a proper road trip.

Finally that slow start to the season with 2-3 games a week with 2-3 day breaks in between is done and we get 3-4 games per week for the rest of 2022. Hoping the team can end this homestand strong.

I hope we see that new first line tonight to see if there is any chemistry there.

Looking forward to this one. Interesting to see how long Sutter keeps those lines together.

Bit of a trap game, hopefully the boys come out tonight with a burr under their saddle. I'd like to see a good old fashioned butt kicking tonight. Really interested to see how the new lines pan out, not optimistic about Looch being that high up but good luck to him.

^Vladar start makes sense. Markstrom has started every game over the last two weeks. It's time.

Man that Seattle roster looks rough. No excuses today.

Grubauer can steal a game, but otherwise the Flames should dominate this.
