Pretty sure this is the Fight Kessler is talking about. Iggy missed at least half a dozen times . 4 of them where just haymakers that missed at the end.

They told me to shut up. They said, ‘don’t talk to him Kes…you’re just going to rile him up and then he’s going to score three goals and then the game’s going to be over.’ I wouldn’t talk to him.
We have heard similar quotes from multiple players/coaches about Iggy. I'll never tire hearing them. God I miss having a force like that on this team. Iggy rules.

The reason Iginla hated Kesler so much was because of what a cheap piece of crap Kesler was. How to make Jarome go off? Do something cheap to his teammates.
Everytime Kesler lost a faceoff he would crosscheck the opposing center not to mention all the dives, cheapshots and embellishment at any and every opportunity.
Kesler is a tool and an embarrassment to the game of hockey. So glad hes gone from the league.

When I listen to Bieksa talk I understand that his off-ice personality is quite different from his on-ice one. He's intelligent, well spoken, but played with an edge to be effective. With Kesler there's no such difference, he's as dudebro as they come and is very tiring to listen to. The guy never graduated mentally from junior hockey

Sort of, I guess. My impression of Bieksa was always that he was an insufferable, arrogant ######bag, and that opinion of him has not changed in the slightest since he joined the HNIC panel.

I thought that he adds a lot of humour and insights that they otherwise sorely lack as the rest of the panel hasn’t either played at a high level or hasn’t done so in the past 25 years. I am guessing if you went in liking him it reinforces your view but if you hated him it did the same.
