Gaudreau & Bedard should be fun to watch next year

Alright, just for the pure chaos of it (and to hurt their chances at Bedard I guess) everyone should be cheering for a blowout Ducks win. If that happens - to quote a great scientific pioneer - you're going to see some serious ####.

CBJ have no power play goals this year.
Johnny does not look good this game.

Johnny is playing 4D chess... tank it up this year, win the lottery, then play the rest of his career with Bedard.

man are the bj's terrible. Imo johnny doesn't care about winning and where he signed shows that. He could have had lots of options to be closer to family and still be on a winning team. Such a waste of talent.

Have lost to PHI, DET and WAS
Have beat ANA, NYI, SJS, DET, COL, CBJ
So the only win of any consequence was Colorado. And they are struggling right now. Having said all that, Jersey is definitely playing well right now - by far the fewest shots against, so far this year.
They head to VAN and EDM next, then a home and home with the Flames. So we'll see what they're made of, this week.

They are. But they've been missing Nichushkin the last 2 games on top of already missing Landeskog. Compound that with losing Kadri, Burakovsky, Johnson, and Kuemper in the offseason, and the result is going to be some losses, no matter how great a team you are.

I was listening to the Devils vs Jackets game 9m satellite radio today.
They have the most shots in the league & have given up the least. Sounds like they're showing some promise this season; will be interesting to see what they're like this coming week.
Also from thar listen; the commentator called CBJ pathetic about 10 times. Couldn't believe how bad they are and basically they weren't even showing effort for their goalie.
Thr booing of Gaudreau was intense all game too.

New Jersey reportedly had an offer in for Johnny (and probably thought they had a good shot given he’s from NJ, albeit closer to Philly), but he obviously went in a different direction.
I don’t think he’ll get booed in Philly as they didn’t even try to get him, but I can understand NJ fans feeling a bit spurned…

Lead the NHL in shots for and best in fewest shots against as you mention.
That's a tough feat to pull off.
Im guessing, they are much better than many thought they would be.
Wasnt it just a couple weeks ago there were "fire Lindy" chants?

Yeah, I remember that as I recall thinking that this would work out well, but then it seemed like that offer just inexplicably disappeared.
