I like Ethan Bear as a player, never really found a role in Carolina but I think this could end up being good for Vancouver that needs serviceable bodies.

Although it's kind of funny that Vancouver declined to sign Chatfield, who seems to have replaced Bear in Carolina

I do hope Bear is able to cement himself in the NHL, but these couple of moves don’t do much to move the needle for the Canucks.
