Kostin is a good player. Coming into his own. Should slot in at C for those basitids up north. I hate this.

Good trade by Holland. Wished we made this move. We're so dry on RW and this kid played that position. Watched him live at the world juniors and he was easily the best player.

Didn't Samorukov play his only NHL game against the Blues? And if I recall he absolutely sucked. Got beaten like a rented mule on 2 goals against in the first period and never set foot on the ice again.

Edmonton loves these skilled but brainless players. Hopefully Kostin manages to develop enough in order to be promoted to the KHL next season.

Yeah samorukov blows, kostin might not. Too bad this couldn’t have happened with Valimaki but oh well.

This actually a solid trade for Edmonton. They don’t have a ton of forward depth passed what’s on the roster and Samorukov is buried on the depth chart.

that describes their type of player very well . high skill, usually no sandpaper and low IQ . culminating in lots of pretty plays but just as many losses
