Kraken bringing what looks like their starting roster to town. Last chance for Milano? Should be a fun game!

Lol what's the point of keeping him around? Ritchie and Ruzicka? Common now, this is like when they stapled Ritchie on the top line and got upset with no production. If you want to see what offensive players can bring maybe play them with NHL players.

Would have preferred Milano up on Backs line, but whatever given it's preseason.

Yeah its basically tying an anchor to someone and asking them to run but maybe he also gets some PP time. It likely won't be usual 4L minutes tonight either, probably double that. Let's see what he has. He and Ruzicka have something to prove. Might also see line juggling as the game goes on. Should be interesting!

Sure seems like Milano isn't showing much to the coaching staff in practice or games so why reward the guy?

The new morning show on 960 had Leslie on this morning who is around the team and he did not sound impressed with what Milano has brought yet either.

Maybe, just maybe there is a reason the guy is on a PTO and Anaheim didn't want him.

My guess is that when you sign a vet to a PTO there are discussions around how many pre-season games and what types of opportunity you will get before agreeing to sign. Otherwise, I don't see why he is getting another opportunity either.

I'm really interested in watching the Mackey-Stone pairing tonight. Both guys have had good camps and there is a temporary spot available in the line up. Huge opportunity.

Mangiapane Kadri Dube should be fascinating as well. Tons of speed and skill and tenacity in that group. If the chemistry works out this could be a line we watch most of the season.

I'm also really interested to see Ruzicka and Milano on a line together. They are both offensively talented guys, so maybe they can generate something together and strengthen their position in camp. I'm curious to see how this line is deployed and if the players are going to be focused on making an offensive impact or playing more of an energy, hard forechecking bottom 6 style. I wonder what's going through Milano's head right now? Is he trying to make the Flames or is he showcasing for another team?

Yeah that's what I figure too. It was more wondering why people still want to see him with Kadri. He has been extremely underwhelming so far in my opinion. The only reason he stands out is that hair. Hahah

I always like Tanguay as a set up guy.

Lacked in two way play, wasn't much of a shooter, but super soft hands and could find guys open.

Huselius was good too.

I'd put Makarov in there too, at least top 5.

Going to the game with the kid and was hoping to see the top line. Oh well. Will be fun to see the Kadri line. Hopefully will see some chemistry develop.

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.
