TSN: Rangers D Nils Lundkvist requests trade
TSN:
New York Rangers 2018 first-round pick Nils Lundkvist will not report to training camp after requesting a trade, his agent confirmed Friday.
A 22 year old defenseman who was a 2018 1st round pick. Suited up for the first time in the league last year and played in 25 games for the Rangers.
Signed for $925 K for each of the next 2 seasons if he plays in the NHL.

That's 2 Rangers prospects ask9ng for a trade in 2 years now. Flames should trade for them both .

I still like his upside, but not sure I see the fit with the Flames at the moment as much as I want ALL THE SWEDES : )
For a rebuilding team, definitely would be worth a go.

Was highly touted before last year, Swedish connection etc.
We’d need to drop one, perhaps using Valamaki for a forward.
