Default Calgary Flames finally correct Friedman and his abbreviation

This is awesome! Now whether Friedman corrects himself moving forward it really doesn’t matter to me, I just love the work the Flames PR and social media team has done this off-season, cherry on top was calling EF out on CAL/CGY

Hah. Doesn't really bother me because there's no team that goes by "California". When I was growing up, "Cal" was the Calgary abbreviation in the newspapers that showed hockey stats in the sports section.

Interesting it's always been CGY for me in my lifetime, I think because of CAL being used by the California Angels, now Anaheim Angels.

Cool. Now if we could fix his Edmonton abbreviation to ENG we'd be on a roll.

Hell, if he'll just abbreviate Edmonton to ENG, he can go on using CAL as long as he wants.

Don't think he has the ball to call Edmonton ENG.

How about Huberdeau looking dapper AF. I see he's also sporting a Rolex GMT Master II, "Root Beer" variation watch. Great taste (no pun intended). That's the real story here.

Because that’s what Friedman actually is in my view. I’m pretty sure he reads this forum before going on air locally as I don’t think I’ve heard anything insightful from him other than what’s already posted here.
