Wild Sign Hasek to Extension

The Minnesota Wild are pleased to announce that Dominik Hasek has signed a contract extension with the organization. GM Grant Farhall commented on the new deal.
"Dom has proven himself to be one of the very best netminders in the league. He has not made a final decision regarding whether or not he will retire or not at season's end, however, what this deal signifies that should he decide to return - it will be with The Wild. We are hoping that Dom plays for 2 years, retires as a Wild, and by that time Hannu should be ready to step in."
As per club policy, terms of the agreement were not released.
