Calgarypuck Prospect Ranking 2022 - Round 14
Welcome to the annual Calgarypuck Prospect Poll!
As per usual ...
1. Rank the prospects as you like. Upside, chances, or trade value
2. I will try and do one a day which should get us to rookie camp range
3. Graduates and/or runoffs will be determined in each case
4. Please don't complain that the polls are going to deep. We go until all the prospects are ranked, so don't vote if you don't want to.

Now it is pretty random for me, multiple of these guys can climb into top 10 next year imo (Nikolayev, Pettersen, Pospisil, Ronni, Stromgren, Segreev, Whynot, Cole) but at this point just gotta wait and see. Went with Ronni just for potential

Went for Pettersen this round. Ben Jones as a tweener could also get some consideration soon. Higher floor. Same thing as Walker Duehr.

I went Topi Ronni for the 3rd time. I think he plays in the NHL, it’s just a matter of where in the lineup he plays.

Between Pospisil and Ciona for me. Expecting big things from Ciona this year, and I’d expect a Pospisil callup at some point this season.

Nikolaev. But really, it could have been any of a number of others.

Nikolaev and Stromgren kind of seem about equal here.
Some upside, but who knows. Went with Nikolaev because he's actually played in North America.

Chechelev! Haven't been keeping up with him, but I've chosen him as my darkhorse prospect and I will continue to vote for him as such until he is no longer a prospect.

Anyone left with 2 or more years since their draft year are really long shots at this point. Might as well go with one of the newer unknown players. So selected Ronni.
