Icon48 ISS Hockey is shutting down

https://www.isshockey.com/

Pretty big news. They were a major independent scouting service for the NHL for a long time.

Guess the pop up of a lot more scouting hobbyists creating or joining their own scouting services and the easier ability it is to watch games around the world via streaming pushed them out.

It used to be when you read up on draft prospects you would get their central scouting and ISS ranking. Now there are dozens of services that rank and provide scouting reports

I'd imagine it's probably difficult to scout hockey from the International Space Station.

So Stuart Hyman is winding down the ISS now that his youngest kid (Jan '03 birth) is ineligible to be ranked and/or not good enough to be ranked...

Is 29 the upper limit? Asking for a friend.
