Took over the reigns after an awkward departure of Coach Q and did very well, inherits a really good, young roster with the Devils. Misread and thought he was HC, but he’s a great addition to the staff as an associate. Kinda shocked he didn’t stay in Florida.

It would be awkward going from a HC back to an AC on the same team, even if you were kind of forced into the HC position, imo.

Really strange that they didn't keep him on Florida given the season they had, which makes me wonder. But maybe the guy just didn't want the head coach pressures just yet.
