This seems reasonable, solid 2nd pairing guy who's only 25 right now. This looks a lot like when the Preds got Ekholm at 4M on a solid term.

Lightning handing out 8 year contracts like candy.

Sergachev, Cernak and Cirelli all signed up in the last few minutes.

How much cap do they have?
It seems like everyone in TB makes 5M+ for 6+ years

will be interesting how they'll manage their cap situation down the road. Stamkos and Hedman only have two years left on their deals, and with all those new extensions, they might force themselves into making a difficult decision there.

Tampa has 13 players signed for next year. At $79M

(though that does include Seabrook)

This contract and Cirelli one kick in the 2023/24 season. I don't think they have a lot of players signed for that season so they will fill in with the usual $1M guys. They also have the $6.8M cap relief from the Brett Seabrook contract they took on.
