Tortz is an extremely demanding and passionate guy. He brings it every night and he expects his players to do so as well. If you don’t he’ll let you know. He’s just not stoic with the media. Very sutter like in philosophy
He should be able to get a lot more out of that roster even without Giroux. There's a good opportunity to get his 3rd Jack Adams trophy as that team was only 6 points from being last this season.
What Tortorella did with the BJs was amazing. He'll get these Flyers to being a form of the Broad Street Bullies. I wonder if he will tell Brooksie to get the bleep out when the Flyers play at MSG.
Also means that Gaudreau could potentially stay here. I don’t see him wanting to play for Torts but maybe that’s just me thinking that.
I think that's just you. From what we have heard directly from Gaudreau himself, he is abundantly aware of how much better his game is when he is challenged by a demanding coach. If anything, I think he would be happy with this decision if he was entertaining any offers from Philadelphia. (I am still highly sceptical that he signs there, though.)

Agreed. Many of us (me included) were quite worried that johnny would not mesh with Sutter. The opposite actually happened. Johnny bought into the Sutter system and made himself a much better player.
Torts would love the new Johnny.
I also doubt that Johnny signs with Philly. If he goes east, it would be a different team.
