For a Neutral a Tampa/Colorado Final is going to be wild.
Unfortunately, as good as Colorado is, unless they get some starters back as well as their goaltender I just dont think they've got what it takes to hang with Tampa.

It's actually the Flames fault. Peter Mahr described this recently as the Fletcher rule as a result of thr 1986 fi al where the flames came off a violent 7 game series and then straight into a series with Montreal. With a couple of days rest calgary may have won that series and a 2nd cup as a result. Ever since then there are 3-4 days prior to the start of the SCF.

The reason there is a longer break in between series is contractual obligations. The ABC network is televising both the NBA and NHL final. Game five of the NBA finals is on Monday night.
