Frank Vatrano has as many goals this post season as Barkov and Huberdeau combined

Maybe Florida does something crazy in reaction to the disastrous playoff and trades us Barkov.

I hate head shots as much as anyone, but wasn't Domi slipping there? Not sure you can do much about that hit.

Domi is in the midst of falling down, as he is hit.

Defending player has already committed to the hit.

No call is the right call, imo.

I have a problem with how Trouba repeatedly finishes his hits through a player.
He is hitting to hurt , no effort to displace the puck just to punish a player.

and before someone calls me namby pamby , I love a good hit as much as anyone but these kinds of hits need to go .

Domi should protect himself better in this situation , but Trouba is already in a position to hit through him , very low and finishing upward and gets all head.

The Hurricanes are winless on the road so far in the playoffs and the trend looks like it will continue. The Rangers lead 3-0 after forty minutes.

I do not see further discipline on Trouba.

Did Domi just lose his balance, or was he trying to bail from the hit?

Anyway, I don't have a problem with the hit assuming it wasn't charging. It's hard to tell from that clip. I don't think Trouba could have predicted that Domi would be in that position when he committed to the hit. His feet looked like they were on the ice at the time of contact.

Rangers deserve a lot of credit for being able to hang with the Canes.

Terravainen scored to spoil Shesterkin's shutout bid. Copp scored five minutes later, 4-1 Rangers.

You can't ignore that there is a pattern with Trouba.

They are what, 6-0 at home and 0-5 on the road? Boy, even if they get through this series, I don't like their chances vs Tampa if they can't win on the road.

Start spreading the news, the Rangers have tied the series. There will be a game 6 on Saturday at MSG.
