My final prediction was 111 points.

So I guess that mean 7-3-0.

Flames will need a bunch of teams to struggle to win the Presidents trophy.

Some of these games are likely meaningless so who knows

7-3 if they were trying their best

Rest a few guys, work on new strategies, keep mentally focussed.

No easy route from here on in.

Just don't nobody get injured. 7-3, hopefully don't go into the playoff on a losing skid.

Glancing at the standings, it looks likely that at least 11 teams will finish with 100+ point seasons this year. That's pretty nuts. Must be the highest number in NHL history.

April 12 v Kraken: Paddlin for the Flames
April 14 v Golden Knights: another paddlin
April 16 v Coyotes: you'd best believe this is a paddlin
April 18 v Blackhawks: This is going to hurt the Flames more then the Blackhawks, at least that's what the Flames say before the paddlin
April 19 v Predators: Half hearted paddlin
April 21 v Stars: Monstrous paddlin, followed by sending the Stars to their room without desert
April 23 v Canucks: An implied paddlin, because its not worth really paddlin them
April 26 v Predators: firm swift kick to the junk, followed by a paddlin
April 28 v Wild: Steal their canoe and go paddlin
April 29 v Jets: End of the year paddlin for the sake of paddlins

Flames record 10 paddlins

Rest Johnny. Last time he went all out for 100 , they got blown out of the first round

Win next few games, rest then ramp up last few games for the playoffs

I would be happy if they just coast along.

Play Vladar alot.

Rest their guys, win 50% of the games.

Start the playoffs well rested for their main guys.

April 12 v Kraken: W - because this is a team they should not lose against.
April 14 v Golden Knights: L - because this is a team that has something to play for and this game means a lot more to them.
April 16 v Coyotes: W - because this is a team that just sucks.
April 18 v Blackhawks: W - because this is a team that has tee times booked already.
April 19 v Predators: W - because the Flames are going to send a message they mean business come post season.
April 21 v Stars: L - because the Stars are fighting for something and the Flames will have clinched.
April 23 v Canucks: W - because Sutter doesn't wan t to lose to a rival.
April 26 v Predators: L - because the Flames will be resting bodies and the Preds are fighting for their playoff lives.
April 28 v Wild: Does it matter? Both teams will be resting bodies for the post season.
April 29 v Jets: L - because the Flames always lose their last game heading into the post-season.

Final 10 game record doesn't matter because the Flames are playoff bound and have bigger fish to fry. Look for this team to be ready come mid-way through game one of the post season.
