The OOT game of the day has the Predators leading the Blues 1-0 in the first period.

The Wild are up 2-0 also in the first period.

SN doing a segment on Gio. Can I miss him but still be good with the Flames moving on from him? Such a solid person and hockey player.

Like the Flames last night, the Blues give up the 1st goal and have scored 6 in the 2nd.

7-1 over Nashville.

After Saros started and let in 4. Probably a close goaltending matchup with Saros/Markstrom if it happens.

Nashville might be gonzo, especially if we lay the hammer to them in the next two meetings

Ugh, hope Vegas doesn't sneak into the wildcards. (WC2 please)

Canuck fans should be huge Flames fans the next two weeks as the Flames can set both wildcard teams back and open the door a crack for them.

Blues are on a serious heater right now. Really 3 teams with 9 game win streaks or better right now. Becoming a two tier league with a very small middle class.

Nashville is in a real murderer's row right now.
St.Louis
Calgary
Tampa
Minnesota
Calgary
Colorado

Than Arizona

So they're seeing some tough competition to close out the season. Maybe Vegas get in at their expense. If Vegas has to make it, I'd love to see them play Colorado.

I don't know... I'd kinda like to see a fully complimented Vegas take out the Oilers

Might is a stretch...they are 95% to make the playoffs

And the odds of Vegas playing Calgary in round one is less than 1% so don't worry about that

The 7 goals scored in the 2nd period by the Blues was a team record in any period. It was the reverse for the Predators, the most goals allowed in any perioid. Rosen, Schenn, and Kyrou each had 2 goals. All 4 lines were in on the scoring and Binnington looked good in net making 33 saves.

From the post game links,
"The Predators honored longtime broadcaster Terry Crisp before the game. Crisp has been part of Nashville’s broadcast team since the team entered the league in 1998 and is retiring at season’s end. Affectionately known as “Crispy,” he won Stanley Cups as a player with the Philadelphia Flyers and as a coach with the Calgary Flames. Crisp was also an original Blue, playing five seasons for St. Louis beginning with the team’s inaugural season in 1967-68."
