There are no clinching scenarios with tonight's OOT games. The Rangers need to win to keep pace with the Hurricanes and Panthers for top spot in the division and conference leaders respectively.
The Kings have only defeated the Avalanche once in the past ten games. The Kings are only three points up on the ninth place Knights.

With LAs remaining schedule coming up, I’m going to say if they win tonight they’ll be able to hold down their spot in the division.

Which would likely mean Vegas out.

Man it's going to piss me off royally if both the oilers and knights make the playoffs.
The acceptable (and what looked realistic) option a couple months ago was neither.
Goof organizations.
Hopefully they beat the ever loving piss out of each other in round 1.
