Talbot then made 26 saves in a 3-2 overtime win versus the Vancouver Canucks March 24. He capped the week with 40 stops on 42 shots his 14th career 40-save performance and second of the season (also Nov. 24 at NJD: 40 SV) in a 3-2 overtime victory against the League-leading Colorado Avalanche March 27. The 34-year-old Caledonia, Ont., native who is 8-0-0 with a 2.13 goals-against average and .924 save percentage in his last nine appearances dating to March 3 ranks 10th in the NHL with 27 wins in 41 total games this season (27-12-1), compiling a 2.80 goals-against average, .911 save percentage and two shutouts.
SECOND STAR JOHNNY GAUDREAU, LW, CALGARY FLAMES

Gaudreau then notched 1-23, highlighted by his 200th career goal and 40th career game-winning goal, in a 4-2 triumph against the Arizona Coyotes March 25. He closed the week with his first career five-assist game and second career five-point performance (also March 12, 2019 vs. NJD: 3-36) in a 9-5 victory over the Edmonton Oilers March 26. Hahaha, Draisaitl a star.
What's the point of scoring goals at the clip he does when he's a pylon on the ice the rest of the time.
"as the Oilers went 1-2-1" sums it up best.

Has anyone ever summed up the Oilers more concisely?

I know I'll get flack for this, but I think Draisaitl is a move and a real coach away from being a ridiculously good player.
#1, he has to get away from the Oilers culture. #2 he needs a Darryl Sutter.
Obviously he's not coming to Calgary, and that's not what I'm suggesting. I'm just saying I wouldn't mind seeing what kind of player he'd become playing on a team with the right culture and a Darryl Sutter type of coach.

IDK, Drai would suffer big time without McDavid...PP points plus not getting the other teams top defensive matchups
also a reasonable amount of ice time on another team

It would be interesting to see the kind of player he would be without McDavid. Even when they are playing on different lines, a huge portion of their points come on the powerplay when they play together - and they play for almost all of every powerplay. Plus if you took away 4-5 minutes of ice time per game to put them in the realm of normal top line minutes, I wonder what the numbers would look like. I would expect he would still be a point-per-game player
just not a 100+ point player in a season.

Not sure what a player needs to do beyond averaging 3+ ppg for the week to be named 1st star.

I see a current-era version of a raw Eric Lindros.
Like, obviously Eric Lindros wouldn't be allowed to be Eric Lindros in today's NHL - but I just see a player that has the capability of being this era's version of Lindros. A big heavy player with massive skill. Like there was one play the other day where both Lucic and someone else (Zadorov?) just bounced right off him trying to knock him off the puck. He's one of those rare players that I genuinely worry about when he has the puck.
He needs to get away from the "scoring goals is all we care about" Oiler culture and he needs a tough coach who can convince him to become a 200-foot player. Like he's already almost impossible to stop when he wants to score. Imagine what he'd be like if he also wanted to backcheck and forecheck just as much.

Hmmm. Drai...a Superstar!!!!
Yeah sorry. For me this guy is all about himself and personal achievements.
As for Johnny.....if he isn't winning some serious hardware he's getting robbed.
He's absolutely amazing this year.

I think a good comparison for a properly managed Draisaitl is Joe Thornton. He could still be a 100 point guy with 1st line linemates (which he would get)
