Default March 4 with seven games.

The Friday OOT has six western conference teams playing, three of them from the Pacific Division.

The narrowest of non-goal calls in OT in Columbus. Plenty of fans have already left the building after celebrating the goal! I know I've brought this up a couple times over the last month, but I'm not convinced these goal reversals from slim offsides are what's best for the game

The Penguins and Hurricanes are tied 2-2 late in the third period, good game here.

The Hurricanes get a power play late in regulation time!

Overtime coming up in Carolina. The Penguins hang on and kill off the penalty.

The Sabres have some offensive skill, they scored five goals for the second straight game and defeat the Wild 5-4 in regulation time. That is good news for many western conference teams.

The intra Central Division game has the Stars leading 2-1 after forty minutes. Connor ties it up 91 seconds into the third period.

I love following OOT these days, mainly to see what the worst case results for the Coil would be.

So, tonight it'd be 3 point game with Dallas winning and a 3 point game with Anaheim winning? Make it so~

Stars win in OT. Vegas and Anaheim are tied at 1 after 1.

At least one point for Vegas and the Oilers are on the outside again.

The Knights scored four times in the second period, it is now 5-3 Knights early in the third period.

The Ducks were down 5-2, but, have scored a pair of power play goals. Troy Terry with the latest goal, 5-4 with nine minutes left in regulation time in this intra Pacific Division game.

God I hate the loser point so much, for so many reasons, but right near the top of the list is the "gentleman's agreement" third period where you get into a tie game and everyone plays not to lose until at least OT so they can bank a point.

Eichel 8 games, 5 points. Not exactly setting the place on fire.

Good OOT.

Jets, canucks and oilers all out of a playoff spot.

Flames need to be the only western Canadian team in the post season. It would be glorious.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Flames were the only Canadian team in the playoffs. The way the Leafs have struggled I can see them getting bounced out of a spot although I'm not certain if CBJ or Det can get on a big enough run to climb into the wild card race.

Leafs are 16 points ahead of CBJ, no chance they don’t make the playoffs.
