It's time to start recognizing the top 4 on D for the Flames. IMO no clear cut #1 or #2 pairing, but a very well rounded group that is really getting it done. Rasmus and Hanifin looking like a workhorse pairing that can get it done all over the ice. I had my doubts about #4 but he has improved throughout the year. Just a very underrated pair.

And Tanev has been super solid playing with the revelation, Kylington. That's a perfect partner for Oliver.

A lot of credit to Kylington for busting out this year but has Sutter ever created magic with those 4.

They played so well, could've used 5 stars.

Kippers record is done like dinner. Marky is going to play at least 37 more games down the stretch.

I don't recall a time where I've been this happy with the 6 D the team is rolling. It affords flexibility to the coaching staff at home and on the road. Not having to shelter pairings is found money.

The third line is a black hole of sorrow. Really don't know what to do there. It's almost like a holding room for guys that are good on the PK/PP.

This team oozes confidence. It's a strange feeling, but find myself getting used to it game after game.
