The third period on Long Island was exciting as both teams combined to score four goals. The Islanders' Pageau scored the go ahead goal with 2:20 left in regulation. Theodore tied the game with 48 seconds left and the Knights win it in the shootout.


The Jets win 4-2 over the Blues and give Coach Lowry his first win with the Jets. Ehlers had 4 points and Stastny scored a pair of goals.

Nice save by Flames legend Gillies with 6:33 left in the second. Pens Rodriguez was falling on him and he got a glove out to snag it while falling backward

The Kings were trailing 2-0 and have since come back to tie it at 2-2 midway through the third period.
The Kings have scored a shorthanded goal and no points for Ovechkin so far.

The Penguins lead 3-2 in the late stages of the third period.
