So, I'm heading to lunch and on the walk to the resturant to meet my wife I get a message from my buddy who's a CTV reporter which says
"As an aviation enthusiast can I get your thoughts of Pascan pulling out of Sydney?"
My responce
"WTF? WHEN? I HAVE FLIGHTS BOOKED!"
Turns out my flight is indeed cancelled.
The itinerary is:
YQY-YUL-YTZ on Air Canada
YTZ-YUL-YHZ on Porter
YHZ-YQY on Pascan
Pascan codeshares with Porter.
The timing worked the best for us.
But obviously now it does not, as it strands us in Halifax.
I'm currently on hold with Avion to get it sorted.
Anyone experience something like this before? I'm hoping they'll just re-book me on Air Canada which leaves earlier in the day from YTZ.
It's early to be frustrated. I have started to pull up insurance on the Avion Infinite card, I doubt it'll cover it at this point (a month and a half early).
Reaching out to the CP Braintrust to see if anyone had any experience as I'm scrambling at the moment and not thinking 100% clearly.
But hey, I will be on the news tonight
