Mandatory Exercise: Roster review and position adds. DL: Sat Aug 9

This is one of the most important off-season activities. I've updated the sim with all trades, signings and releases as of today. But I now need everyone to check their rosters and send in corrections. With hundreds of off-season moves there will be mistakes that need to be corrected.

In addition, this is also your ONLY chance to add positions to your players. As a reminder, once our season starts, players can only play positions that are included for them in the sim. And i do not add other positions. Do it now.

Let's take this a piece at a time. We will be using the new sim site for this exercise. This is new for all of us so there could be some hiccups.

Step 1.
Visit https://cphl.sths.ca/
Click on your team. Then click on depth. At some point you may be asked for a password. This is the same PW that you use for regular site. PM me if you can't get in.

Step 2.
From that page you'll be able to see the depth by position. This shows what the sim currently has listed for each player.

Step 3.
Email cphltrade with all your changes in the following format. Please remember I have to do this for every team so follow the format and be clear and accurate.

Subject line: *insert Team name* changes
Content:

1. Players to be added
- This should include the players name, and which team they are on now, or if they are unassigned in the sim
- Only players that played enough games in the AHL or NHL have ratings. if you want a player added that isn't in the sim, note it, but remember they will have 50s across the board

2. Players to be deleted from your team. If you know what team they should be on instead that helps me a ton.

3. Positions to be added for each player
Put the name of the player the positions to be added, and a link that proves they can play that position

- Sportsnet
- ESPN
- hockeydb
- Rotoworld
- Hockeyreference
- Eliteprospects
- Capwages
- Puckpedia

Not acceptable
- Articles that make mention of a player's position. We need profiles
- Hockeysfuture
- Junior hockey links to justify an NHL position

Forward is not good enough to justify the player being used in all positions. Similarly "winger" doesn't mean you can play them as RW and LW. We need specific positions.

4. ECHL players you wish to sign that you haven't already.

One more important thing. the new site has a weird bug where some player aren't playable unless I change their contract. So I need everyone to see if you can DRESS each player in the line-up and also include a list of players that you can't, so i can fix it. Otherwise i have to literally check each and every player in the league. Please include this in your email.
