lol, this is the opposite of right. His even strength defensive results are in the 90th percentile, but he doesn't put up points except on the power play. He has a shot but doesn't create chances. Basically the perfect 2nd pairing, 2nd PP d-man.

Just going by what St Louis people were saying.

He wanted the opportunity for a larger role, and his analytics from previous years suggested that he should be able to handle it. But when the chance finally came, he didn’t do well with the extra ice time. In 2019-20, he averaged 16:16 per game (14:43 even strength) and was on for 51 goals for and 32 against at five-on-five. This season, he was bumped up to 19:15 per game (17:29 even strength) and was on for 21 goals for and 28 against.
