Default Flames prospect development camp?

Bruins prospect camp starts today.
Haven't seen the Blues announce theirs, but saw a tweet on a Blues prospect attending development camp later this summer
Any word or rumors of Flames development camp? Guessing it might not happen until Canada/US border opens on the 9th at the earliest

I read somewhere the Sens are hoping to have a development camp in early September. I guess when international travelers are allowed back into Canada? Might be a lot of political and bureaucratical red tape still to get through.

In any case if they do manage to hold one I doubt it will be open to the public.

edit: found the Sens info

with an update a few days later

Leafs development camp also to be likely mid september. https://editorinleaf.com/2021/08/01/...s-development/

So looks like the Canadian teams will be early to mid september

isn't mid-September rookie training camp?

pre-season starts ~25th, so vets report a few days before that, and rookies report a week earlier-ish

Yeah, they might be combining it. Start development camp a few days earlier than that.

that would be unfortunate as inviting college UFAs builds relationships and can lead to signing down the road like it did with Mackey

Too bad. For the new coaching staff in Calgary and Stockton, it would have been an opportunity for all to get familiar with the prospects.

For most of the players, they’ve played so little in the past two years that they need more development opportunities.

Yes, but at least the college and European guys managed to get more games last year.
