He still had over a 70 point pace this year.
Underrated producer when healthy.

124 points in 156 playoff games is also very impressive.

Can we offer them one slightly used Sean Monahan?

Like new after his surgeries!

Get some picks and flip em for Eichel. Boom.

A surprising, but very nice statement. I can totally understand wanting to go home with bags of money so your kids grow up among family and friends.

Cant ask anymore out of your 2nd line center. Bruins were stacked with Bergeron and Krejci as 1-2 for years

nice statement. Hell of a career, won it all and made a lot of money ... playing out the twilight years at home must be pretty cool. Good for him!

When does the czech season end? Can the Bruins sign him at the trade deadline and essentially kucherov a cup?

This is actually a massive loss for the Bruins. Charlie Coyle in your 2nd line pivot spot is a big step down.

There is a waiver rule for UFAs that played in leagues outside or North America.

If they don't sign a contract before December 15, they are required to clear waivers to play in the regular season or playoffs.

So if the Bruins tried it, they would have to offer Krejci to every other team for free on waivers.

Does that now put them in the Eichel conversation?

I honestly have no idea.

Krejci was a UFA wasn’t he? Shouldn’t impact Boston’s cap situation if that is the case

Great player. The year iginla was in Boston, he played on a line with Krecji and lucic. They were hands down the best line in the league that year.

Boston doesn’t have any top end assets to land Eichel, unless they’re giving up one of Marchand/Bergeron/Pastrnak/McAvoy.

Before that with Horton was incredible as well. Krceji is one of the most underrated players in recent memory

Maybe they would like Monahan in a three-way deal though ?
Get Eichel out of the East, while filling the hole Krejci leaves. They’d have to move out DeBrusk and another contract first to make the cap work.

They couldn't afford to sign him with no cap space. That hasn't changed.

Vastly underrated player. Has there been a better #2C in the NHL over the last 15 years?

Also impressive to see a guy do what’s best for his family. He probably left $12-15 mil on the table.

Unreal player.

Remember the Lucic-Krejci-Iginla line? Flat-out dominant. That was Boston's top line that season.
