Gaudreau strikes me as the type of person who isn't socially proficient, and not exactly leadership material. He's a skill player that takes care of his own business.

I want to say Tkachuk but there needs to be long term certainty there. If he signs an extension I give it to him hands down.

I didn't see Eichel as an option

Voted to wait - I think its too early to pick a new one, I think someone has to step up and prove their worth at this point. Early on I thought Tkachuk but this core doesn't seem to be okay with his antics or his style of play and wanting to get involved all the time so I'm not sure who is best now. I still have faith it could be Tkachuk but he needs to prove that with his next contract.

Sean Monahan would be my second choice and he'll probably end up getting it.
