somewhat surprising they didn't select Kakhonen... must mean they are selecting Soucy from the Wild or a side deal?

I smell a Minny trade to protect Kahkonen

Could just be that Kahkonen and Vanecek are both at the stage in their development where they should be in the NHL as a backup and Seattle liked Vanecek more?
