NSH trades Ryan Ellis to the Flyers for Phillipe Myers and Nolan Patrick

Now here's a doozy. We "knew" they were after Jones but Jones has his eyes set on free agency in '22.
Interesting from Philly's perspective because they have Ghostisbehere, Myers, Sanheim, Hagg, Braun, and Provorov. So I imagine they protect Ellis, Provorov and Sanheim and leave Myers exposed?
Well there we go...for Myers and Patrick.

No way. Philly got the better player and a better fit for them. Provorov and Ellis sounds like a legit top pairing.

Potential steal for the Preds as Ellis was on the decline. Assuming Patrick ever returns to form, which I doubt.
Patrick was the chip being thrown in in a Gaudreau deal, so possibly a good sign that the Flames can retain Gaudreau?
