Default Who should the Flames pick with their first round pick?

I went to do this myself and then remembered I'm no longer a mod

Can we get a poll added to get a gauge of who the Flames should pick with their first round selection.

I would recommend including:
Jesper Wallstedt
Mason McTavish
Fabian Lysell
Cole Sillinger
Chaz Lucius
Aatu Raty
Carson Lambos (though no one will vote for him)
Matthew Coronato

Going off-board with Scott Morrow, D. Shattuck St. Mary’s

Because it's a weird year for prospect evaluation, and also because he could be the second Scott Morrow to play for the Flames.

I picked Lysell for the benefit of the poll, but I’m taking Wallstedt if he’s there.

Chaz!! RHS Center with good size and probably the best offensive toolkit in the draft. A full healthy season and I'm convinced he'd be up there with Eklund. I'm totally serious.

I've mentioned it 15 times already though, I think Raty is who they take in real life.

I think Raty just carries too much risk. I think he falls to the mid 20s and potentially all the way out of the first.

I don't know about the first rounder, but my one wish for this draft is that the Flames are the team that drafts Red Savage.

They should get Lambos if they want to get faster.

Coronato intrigues me the most, but Sillinger is the guy they take if available IMO.

If Lysell is available, he should be the pick.
I’ve thought for a long time the Flames have been missing the element he brings. A guy who can carry the puck with speed and gain the offensive zone and have the skill to make things happen once he gets there.
Johnny had it, but now we mostly see his button hook once he gains the zone.

I was big on Sillinger but I voted Mctavish, I think he’s the better player and hope he falls to 12.

I feel that's debatable. His skillset trumps any other fw outside of Eklund. It's what it between his ears thats the risk. If we are talking.g pure foundation of talent and well rounded, you can't get much better.

This is whats going to make draft day fascinating for me. How all 32 teams gather their information and make their judgements in such a unique draft.

Addendum:
Center is a premium position and that carries a lot of weight. And realistically, I don't see him getting beyond the Rangers pick.

Mctavish for me. I’be been on the trade up to get him train for a while. If they stay pat at 12, and mctavish is gone, then Sillinger. Wanted Lysell for a while but have warmed up to Sillinger .

There's something about Raty that I don't like. Same with McTavish.

I like Chaz or Sillinger at #12.
