Default Phsyio / Chiro Recommendations??

I am looking for a new Chiro/Physio place/person to go to. Long story short. I have bad knees, and have now developed a sharp shooting pain in my heel, which I think is starting to become plantar fasciitis. I have done the lifemarks where they put muscle stimulants on and give you exercises, but I always feel they treat the symptoms and not really look at what may have caused this. I have an general understanding of mechanics and how sometimes shoulder pain when lifting may actual be linked to a tight lat muscle instead, so looking for someone who is knowledgable and willing to look at the whole picture of the problem. Just wondering if anyone has anyone in mind and can recommend me to them.

My father in law had plantar fasciitis, and the foot specialist in Edmonton referred him for Shockwave therapy. I thought it sounded like a complete scam, but it was a specialist who did the referral and it completely fixed it. He could barely walk due to the pain and after a few treatments has been 100% better for quite awhile. I couldn't believe the difference.

I had horrible plantar fasciitis for years. Went to a chiropractor. Deep massage. Took about 7-10 visits, and was very painful when he dug his thumb into my foot... but I haven't had even the smallest twinge in years.

Dr. Denis Simons. He used to be in the old Penny Lane mall, but now looks like he works out of Westbrook.

Any part of town to be honest. I am willing to drive to the end of the city if I can find someone who is good to look at the whole picture and not just one aspect.

Going to have to look into that shockwave therapy. I reached out to Jeannine at Alto. Looking to see who else to possible visit as well.

Thanks everyone!

I reference to the title of the thread, I would recommend physio over chiro, just for logic reasons. Good luck with Jeannine, it's always good to have a reference!

Dr Trevor mints at douglasdale chiro does the shockwave.

Dr rob weaver/Carrie minty (wife of Trevor) are both at Mackenzie towne chiro and they are both awesome.
