AHL Additions - Speculation

I'm wondering which of our kids will be joining the AHL team next year. I'm not 100% certain on eligibility, but it could be the first time in a while where our farm team is worth following closely.

I doubt Berniers would go pro at his age just for an AHL salary. He would be better off getting another year of schooling.

I don't think Emil Heineman will be coming over just yet. I think his contract expires after next season?

Nikolayev's contract with the KHL is over after the 21/22 season. If he were to come over it would be after that.

Feuk's contract with Sweden is up, so likely he makes the move over to NA if the Flames sign him.

Heinemann is doubtful even if they sign him. IIRC it was the same issue with Kylington and the transfer agreement that they had to offer him back to his club with Sweden before assigning him to the the AHL because he isn't a first round pick.

Another interesting name to watch would be Chechelev. His contract is up in Russia.

Although considering the Flames hold his rights indefinitely, might be smart not to start the clock on an ELC and let him develop more in Russia.
