Default Looks like Treliving still has a job

a couple weeks after the regular season and treliving still has a job..

i think flames fans should hold off in buying tickets for next year if this incompetent fool is not fired...

The absolute crazy part here is that I've been so deprived of pro hockey, I'm likely going to a bunch of games next season no matter if they make changes or not

I really want a rebuild though.

You would think they’d come out with something more concrete if he was for sure staying like the Canucks did with Benning

Just speculating here but maybe they have a short list of possible replacements and they are currently negotiating with Treliving as plan C or D?

Either way I think at the very least it’s a complex power sharing dynamic where Darryl doesn’t take marching orders from Treliving

I think it's still a little too early to make that call.

Round 1 is still on. Teams like Nashville and Montreal are still in.

No, the absolute crazy part is that the OP is still just a draft pick after 17 years. Time to retire there Puckbrain, the dream is over.

It's not common practice to address the public and say "We aren't firing a guy who is still under contract" Ie here's some news "no news"

It really all comes down to when his meeting with ownership is scheduled. I would expect if he's the GM by the weekend he's probably staying on and I'm not sure that anyone should be surprised given he's got another two years left on his contract and is probably tied to Darryl's two year remaining term.
