Senators at Thrashers game day
Senators vs Thrashers game day report.
Game Day Stats

Thrashers Players were seen discussing tonites games vs the Red Senators shortly after defeating the Nashville Predators on Monday.
The Georgia team has been feasting on the lower level teams for the majority of the teams early schedule, which has allowed them to hold onto the top position in the CPHL.
Marty St Louis, the diminutive scorer acquired earlier in the week from the Chicago Blackhawks was chomping at the bit in anticipation of tonites game. "GM Reds team has always played teams tough, said St Louis, but if we play Thrashers hockey we dont think they will stand a chance"!
The Senators GM who loves to wear different wigs, <see Team page>, has always built his team around skill and youth, but unfortunately he has also picked wimps as players which has led to lengthy stays for many players on the teams Injury List. At present Rusty Klesla inhabits that spot for the Sens, and teams are beginning to wonder if he will ever be healthy again. Because his players are always hurt it forces the GM to overplay his other marginal players, often burning them out in the process.
Dan Hamhuis, who many projected to be an outstanding young dman, is the most recent Sen to suffer burnout symptoms from overuse. It has been rumored that Hammy has been spotted on his Yacht with several...ahem...less than dressed beauties within the last week. Now the fact that the Yacht is in Ottawa speaks volumes about Danny. No one told him that the Canal froze up during the winter! You would think that Danny would have been resting up and preparing for the Thrash<ing> his team would be facing on Wednesday. It certainly appears as though Dan has acquired a "Liberal" taste since arriving in the nations capital!
With two of his mediocre defencemen down and out the Thrashers were practically giddy with anticipation. "Ah heck...all they got is a bunch of old washed up forwards on that team", an exhuberant Adam Hall stated, "I mean look at them...they can barely stay ahead of the New York Rangers, and EVERYONE knows how pathetic that team is!"
GM Peterson upon hearing his team make these comments simply smiled. "They are thoroughbreds and its tough to keep them in check!"
One thing is for certain...tonites game will be a doozy...the Sens may actually be dizzy after watching the Thrashers skate circles around their team!
