Good write up. Don't know if I would call this a steal for Markstrom, with 3 goals on 27 shots and 11 high danger chances he wasn't too crazy.

That said he had one spectacular save and shut it down in the 3rd, so perhaps my definition of a steal is too demanding.

Agree about getting Ritchie off the Monahan line. He was really bad tonight with a terrible giveaway in the 1st that almost led to a gift goal against. Johny actually setup up both Monahan and Richie with point blank chances and both badly whiffed. They need a better rounded winger on that line.
