They probably should have won that last game, but there were a few mitigating factors:
It was the first game after Ward was fired, and the first game for interim HC Ryan Huska
It was the Flames ninth game in 16 days, and seventh on the road
It was Jacob Markstrom's first game after missing six with an injury.
