Ottawa is destroying the Canucks, but Demko is doing his best Jacob Markstrom impression the keep them on top. It is 2-1 Vancouver mid-way through the second. Shots are 24–13 for Ottawa. Travis Hamonic just took a slashing penalty.

Weird sequence in the Caps/Sabres game. Chara's skate came up and hit Lazar in the face. Refs sent Chara to the box for 4 minutes for high-sticking, then reviewed the call and rescinded it.
Hope Lazar is okay.

The Knights lead 1-0 after forty minutes. Pacioretty scored the goal on the power play in the first period. That has been the only penalty in the game so far.

Yes, he's maturing , looking sharp, getting results, and he's a competitor.
