Default Rolling Briefcases

In the spirit of this place getting old.

I'm in the market for a rolling briefcase.

Something like this:

Does anyone have one? What do you like? What don't you like? What features do you wish it had? Do you like the make? If you were to buy a new one today, what would you look for?

Basically, I'm looking for something with wheels, and something with locks. At a glance they all seem about the same, but figured I'd reach out to see what people's experiences were.

I think you have to be a pilot to buy one of those.

We have one of these at work and it just collects dust. The concept seems practical, but when using it, I find it's just a bit lacking. The case is pretty rigid, clunky and heavy so it's not quite the same experience as having an extra large/wide laptop bag for storing and retrieving documents and items. The one I have has bars inside so that I can put hanging folders in there. It literally makes me feel like the thing is a mobile desk drawer rather than a briefcase or a bag.

I know a place by the Vancouver law courts that sells these, so would assume anyone with one is a lawyer.

I know that doesn't help you OP, unless you're in Vancouver of course.
But I do think people will think you're a lawyer, so maybe good to be aware of that if it matters.

I have three or four of these sitting in my storage room unused and unloved. Used them a lot during my crazy international traveling days in the 90's when your carry-on luggage size did not matter much for airplane cabins. They are almost useless now for travel, because there are a lot of much better options for normal carry-on rollers. Nowadays, you see these "accountant's briefcases" used mostly by lawyers walking between offices with craploads of paper in them.

Yeah, we have a handful of them that just sit at the office in case someone needs one. I've never felt I needed to own one myself.

Still cracks me up when I see CRA auditors showing up with a combination lock briefcase which only has a couple loose papers inside. Dinosaurs.

I never go downtown as my world is in industrial parks, but do business guys ever wear backpacks? That's seriously the best way to carry crap around IMO.
