Flames at Leafs - Does anyone care?
I’m going to put as much effort in to this GDT as the Flames organization puts in to trying to win hockey games.

I care. I actually feel like I'm more at peace with this team now than any other time in the season. If they win great, maybe they can get some momentum going. If they lose then it's another nail in the coffin of Treliving and Ward which in the big picture may be the best thing that can happen for the organization.

Forget about it, the pack is still tight and a quick three game win streak will move this cloud of melancholy that now hovers over most of you. Try not to get to upset in the meantime ok? Yeah we kind of suck, play with no heart, have a clueless coach, and are actively trying to break the shiny new goalie toy but outside of that things are great!

Would it be a nail in the coffin, though? Does anyone in the Flames organization have the balls to fire Ward and replace with a coach who has proven he can win in this league? Because if they fire Ward, and Huska, Edwards or Gelinas take over then nothing will change.

Let’s see if the embarrassment means anything to them.
This teams biggest issue is heart. Which is huge because their second issue is that man for man they don’t match up well in the forward ranks with the better teams in the division. So they each need to play to the best of their abilities to compete with a Toronto (and then hope that Toronto’s forwards don’t play to theirs, and that you can outdefence and about goaltending them).

I'll do what I normally do this season. Watch a recording of the game and if it gets out of hand after the 1st period, just skip my way until either they tie it up or lose. Not going to lose too worked up about it. This team is what it is.

I don't think I'll ever check out completely. I've been fuming mad at the NHL before (2005, 2013) but at at the end of the day, I love hockey and the NHL is the best hockey product.
I think the CFL may fold due to the pandemic without a government bailout, so even though everything sucks I am thankful we have hockey at least.
I hope Ward is asked to leave ASAP though. He does so many things similar to Gulutzan especially with regards to player deployment that it makes it irritating to watch.
