Hope monahan is back. Whatever this team is, they are better with him playing.
I really don't understand why we aren't trying to inject guys like Phillips, gadwin, kylington, heck, pelltier into the bottom areas of the roster, just to switch things up.
Are froese, Nordstrom, really providing ANYTHING above what any ahl level player can't?? I don't see it.
Anyways, treliving/ward you keep doing you. You're doing great.......

I rarely watch post game interviews anymore but just fires up 2 1/2 minutes of ward from last night before I had to #### it off... really??? These are the answers he gives?? We made progress in a few areas but we can be better?? We can give more? Let’s keep the Bennett stuff internal?? He’s ruining the team and it’s tough to watch. That said I’m also instituting a new rule, if Cassie Campbell is doing the colour I’m not watching, seemingly we always lose and she has nothing but a negative spin on the few takes she has about the Flames while she gushes non stop about the other team... even when it’s a home game for us.
Hopefully Mony is back and we get Hyde performance tonight.

Glad we're taking advantage of these games against the division's weak sisters to pile up the points. Can't wait for Ottawa to take our lunch money too.

Comes down to our coach and GM refusing to give younger guys a look. All about that veteran presence! Just another example of taking the safe, scared option instead of taking a risk.
Pelletier should have probably started the year with the team for at least 9 games. Gawdin and Phillips should have both seen time by now. Even Zavgorodniy or Ruzicka could have received a look after looking good in camp.
Especially since the AHL isn’t going on yet for the Flames. No reason you couldn’t have given a couple of the young guys a game or two to see if they provide a spark.
But nope - we would rather keep giving time to the Froese, Robinson, Ritchies of the world who have no real NHL upside long term but have have some experience.

The flames have no emotion anymore. Bennett isn’t hitting, Tkachuk isn’t stirring crap up, nobody cares when they score the odd goal, it’s pathetic and boring.
