I've got nothing good to say about him but he was a brother, son, husband, and friend to other people so my thoughts are with those who grieve his loss.

I know you SAY your husband lost his battle with lung cancer, Mrs Limbaugh, but I simply don’t believe you.

Can you elaborate? I did a bit of googling as he's a bit before my time but I don't see much to label him as an evil person. Controversial, sure.

Before he was diagnosed with lung cancer, Limbuagh used his platform to reject medical science and deny the health risks of smoking as recently as 2015. He got what he deserves. Screw that guy.

The man denied the dangers of first and second hand smoke, got lung cancer and died.
The end.

Guy was a raging, racist piece of ####. What should we be remembering him for positively?

His media empire has probably done more to cause division than Fox News.

he mocked gay people who died from AIDS. He was a racist bigot who also denied climate change, said Covid was like a cold and said Michael J. Fox faked the symptoms of his illness. And that's just a few highlights. The man was a vile ####### who spread hate, plain and simple.
and yeah, some comments on social media regarding his death have been over the top, but the lesson here is: don't live a life that makes people celebrate your death.

Who said he should be remembered positively? I just don't see why people would be openly happy that another human being passed away. He had his schtick but it's not like he murdered anyone or anything. If you didn't like his radio show you simply didn't have to listen.

He lived pretty long for a hypocritical junkie, that a positive, and he got to go out doped to the gills on Oxy, his pill of choice.

I'm reminded of the late Christopher Hitchens' response when asked if he thought Jerry Falwell was 'in heaven': "No, and I think it’s a pity there isn’t a hell for him to go to."
Everything Limbaugh championed during his life is what is currently tearing the political fabric of the United States into pieces. Racism, bigotry, denial of science and medicine, the purveyance of dangerous and divisive conspiracy theories. To ask me to express any sort of condolences for the end of such a person is to assume I think he was worth the box he'll be buried in.
