Nashville receives


Sean Couturier, Bret Kulak and a 2021 1st round pick (phx)


"We hated sending out Couturier, he's a stud but at the same time, how can you not try to get a blueliner like Charlie. We're sure that Noel who is a strong two way center will fit in well, and Drew is a young goalie with good upside.


At this point the St Louis roster is packed at all levels. The blueline is especially crowded with 7 good defensemen. "We'd like to move either Kris if we could, its not fair to leave him on the bench, especially with his high defensive awareness.


We'd also like to clear some players from our minor league systems. Louie Depedio, and one of our farm team goalies are available from the AHL team.

Pretty big deal. I like the return for Nashville, but probably because I have a soft spot for Couturier. A first on top of that? Gravy

On the Couturier front, yeah absolutely hard to give up but at the same time Aciciari is nothing to sneeze at, a 69 rating, but a 90 def, 76 scoring 79 faceoff and 84 ck is pretty good. The rerates in the offseason might counter balance, Aciciari might drop. Mac will rise.

Plus the way I look at it is Couturier for McAvoy


The 1st and Kulak for Aciciari and Drew Commesso who was drafted in the second round last year and is playing pretty well in his first year at Boston.
