This video is a pretty damn fun watch I think. It was great to watch him develop chemistry with Ryan/Dube and Bennett/Dube especially, plus with Backlund on the 2nd PP. He won me over by smashing Zadorov's face in the 1st game of the year. Probably what surprised me most about Lucic is his work with the puck along the boards, he's one of the better passers on the team in those situations due to his ability to protect the puck.
Going to try and put a Mangiapane video together for the weekend.
He adds a lot to this team. The presence is real. The physicality is real. Such a unique player. Not everything that matters in this game is quantifiable.

Lucic showed more defensive and physical presence on this one shift against his former team than James Neal displayed during his entire tenure with the Flames.
His shot may be ugly but he does all the little things and best of all, he seems to really care about his role on the team. I love Lucic, just wish he was a bit cheaper.
Thanks for that, AC Lucic is a fun guy to watch. Such an easy guy to cheer for with his team first style and always brings such a good attitude. Even has some nice speed when the moment calls for it
he really did improve a lot as the year went on...hopefully he doesn't take 4 months to warm up this season
still he needs to give Kassian a beating
Don’t forget it takes time to fully remove the Oiler stink. I am encouraged with how well he played down the stretch and in the bubble that this season will continue to cement the Flames as the winner of the trade
Playing each team 9 or 10 times during the regular season is going to lead to some bad blood. I'm pretty happy with what Lucic will bring to the team in those situations.
