Is that another one those "puts up numbers with Crosby, okay player without him" guys that teams overpay for? Don't watch a lot of east hockey so not sure.
I don't think he'll be overpaid but he's certainly benefited a lot from playing with Crosby in the past. He's a solid overall player with good shooting ability. I like him as a depth add for Washington.

Slot him with Backstrom or Kuznetsov and you may get similar results to what he did with Crosby. Not a bad get by the Caps, Sheary is a great complimentary player if he plays with elite talent.
Average player who benefits from playing with great players, like most guys. Friedman seems to quote stuff in such a funny way "two time Stanley Cup champion" is the most overrated phrase used, like he was the key to winning cups.
