Looks like the goalie dominos keep falling today.

Pittsburgh Penguins @penguins
The Penguins have re-signed goaltender Tristan Jarry to a three-year contract.

The contract will run through the 2022.23 season and carry an average annual value of $3.5 million.

I like to look at goalie signings and compare them to the koskinen deal and laugh. I imagine this gift will never stop giving.

This one was inevitable. Murray is the one on the block. Closer we get to the draft, the cheaper his acquisition cost gets IMO.

I still think it'd be delicious if the Flames traded the rights to Edmontons 3rd for Murray. Or Halls rights.

But honestly, if we can somehow send back Rittich in a Murray deal I'm all for it. GM Rutherford has made way more questionable moves that that.

I seriously doubt it. Unless the Flames trade for a goalie I don't think this is decided until after next weekend. Talbot is not signing a contract until after a few bigger dominoes fall.

Murray can be moved without taking any, or much, cap back.

They won’t trade him in a deal involving Rittich.
