Default What to do with old gas?

Other than a pallet fire at the gravel pits, Where do I get rid of old gas? Do I take it to the fire department hazardous waste drops?

Save it in case the Murder Hornet infestation takes a turn for the worse?

I haven't heard about Murder Hornets in a while. What's been happening in the news to keep them out of the headlines?

Put it in a used hand sanitizer bottle... spritz as desired.

The Murder Hornets have been using the threat of murder to suppress the media attention while they carry on their bloody campaign of terror.

They're still out there. Murdering.

I could dump it around your house as a preemptive measure? Obviously I’d give you the matches and therefore full control.

Wait until it rains then pour it on the street for your kids to marvel at the rainbows.

How much gas are you talking about.

I use old gas in my lawnmower, if I have like 2-5L I will generally dump it in my car and top up with another 40-50L of fresh gas.

I would not put in in your car. You're not supposed to store gas for a few months, before it begins to break down. Once it breaks down, it'll burn in all sorts of funny ways and leave random crap all over the inside of your vehicle.

Maybe if your burning an entire tank, often, but 10% of a tank mixed with fresh gas, once/twice per year wont cause any issues whatsoever.

Do you need to strip paint any time soon? I know of people who use gasoline as a relatively inexpensive paint stripper. Don't ask me if it's safe or not.

You're supposed to put it in the tank, not burn it inside.

Anything less than 6 months I'll dilute with a fresh tank and seafoam. After that I'll toss it.

Although if I plan on leaving it I'll add stabilizer prior.
