in particular the one of the Phaneuf-Guerin fight, and the raising of the Western Conference Champions banner... I managed to work it into a presentation I had today, in something my prof called a "Provinical Run-Off Competition" where I compared the business plans, and annual reports of the Alberta Ministry of Health and Wellness to those of the Nova Scotia Department of Health.
The opening slide had Alberta vs NS, with the picture of the fight, then when declaring which process was better ergo declariing a "winner" I showed the banner being raised and said "and who gets to hoist the championship banner?"
It was cheesy, but being the last presentation at the end of a 3 hour class I knew I had to have something that would draw and keep people's drained attention spans.
My prof's a Flames fan, and got a kick out of my presentation (having done debating and public speaking for 11 years I know how to get people's attention and keep it)
